Accounting and Finance

The Accounting and Finance service unit (Quästur) is responsible for all financial matters at the University of Vienna. Its areas of responsibility include, in particular, day-to-day financial accounting, the preparation of the annual financial statements, budgeting and controlling, as well as university-wide reporting.

As a service unit, the Accounting and Finance service unit (Quästur) is committed to customer focus and innovation in its service offerings and sees its main tasks as supporting university members in all financial matters, as well as preparing information for strategic decisions by university management and facilitating the operational implementation of strategic measures and projects.
